Overview

Primary immunodeficiency diseases (PI) are a group of more than 300 rare, chronic disorders in which part of the body’s immune system is missing or functions improperly. Recent history suggests that even small changes to healthcare or health insurance policies can have a negative impact on those with PI. In order to capture what impact the ACA had on individuals with PI, IDF conducted surveys of people with PI in our database in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
